Precipice

Our world has changed recently. Punctuated by the rhythm of the change of seasons and man’s reactionary rabbit kick that is the daylight saving measure of moving the hour hand back. The British climate is at it’s most characteristic at this time of year. Rain, hail, fog and even snow are the norms for the coming months. Darkness envelopes us for much of our waking hours.

I have now officially completed my drive to fitness by achieving a reasonable time and placing in the Exmoor Beast cycling sportive. What now? Peering over the over the precipice into the dark void of winter what can I see? The spectre of winter waves, the occasional dry day for a stolen skate and time inside with my family.
